A sure way to make your work stand out is to add high-karat gold to create beautiful and unique designs. Multiple techniques will be taught in this class including but not limited to granulation, wire working, alloying, fusing 22k gold dust, making a gold bezel and using Keum-boo to give you the ultimate combination of gold and Argentium®.
All Argentium and 22k Gold Materials Included: Argentium®, 24k Keum Boo Foil, 3” x 22k Gold bezel wire & cabochon stone, and 6” x 22k Gold rd wire x 22ga, and .3dwt 22k Gold Dust
You may bring your own additional materials or purchase from the instructor. Additional 18k or 22k gold may be brought to use for this class. If you choose to learn to alloy, up to a half ounce of 24k gold is preferred depending on how much gold you want to incorporate. 22k works better than 18k
